Submission Questions

How does the contest work?

I submitted my design but it's not up on the website yet?
Submissions must first be screened by S2S Nation before being accepted into our contest or rejected because of inappropriate content or other reasons listed in our "reasons your design might be rejected" section of our design package. This screening usually takes about 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Whether your submission is either accepted or rejected, you will receive an email notification.

What design programs can I use to create and resize my artwork so I can submit it to S2S Nation?
We suggest using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop but there are other programs like Corel that will work fine. As long as you submit your designs according to the specifications in the design package everything is all good.

How do winning artists receive their payments?
The winning artists will receive their payment through PayPal therefore you will need to have a PayPal account in order to receive your payment. If you don't have one, you can easily sign up for one at www.paypal.com.

How much could the winning artists make?
The winning artists could make up to USD2,600. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for our prize structure.

Is your website secure?
S2S Nation takes security issues and privacy very seriously. We use the latest industry-standard SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption to protect your personal and any financial information. Please notice the small pad-lock icon in the locked position that will appear in the lower- right corner of the browser during checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express (upon request). We currently do not accept PayPal, but we may offer it as a payment option in the future.

How do I apply a discount or promotional code?
After you are finished shopping and before you click on the checkout button there is a discount code field to the left of the checkout button.

How do I track my order?
Depending on the shipping method you chose the tracking number will be sent with your shipment conformation to the e-mail provided when you checkout. If you selected a shipping option during the checkout process that does not have tracking you will not be able to track your shipment.

If you did not complete the account creation process before you placed your order or you ordered as a guest, please refer to your order confirmation email for instructions on how to complete your S2S Nation account creation.

Can I reserve a shirt for purchase later using my shopping cart?
If you placed a shirt in your shopping cart but have not completed your checkout, the item will still be in your cart to checkout at a later date. However, if the shirt sells out in this time you will not be able to order that shirt. Placing the shirt in your shopping cart does not guarantee that shirt at a later time.

What if I order a shirt and I want to change the order?
If an order is submitted through our website, it is generally not possible to make changes to the order. We try to ship orders as quickly as possible which makes these types of changes very difficult. You can try to contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request a change to your order, and we will see if the order can be changed before it is shipped. If it has already been shipped, there is not much we can do until you receive the shipment.

Can I cancel my order?
If you place an order and want to cancel the order please e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request the cancellation of your order. Please make sure you place "Cancel Order and your order number in the subject header of your e-mail" If your order has already shipped, please read the section on returns. Once we have received your order back to our warehouse and checked to see the shirt is still intact, your credit card will be refunded.

Can I change the community information on my S2S Nation personal account?
Yes, no problem. Just log into your S2S Nation account and go to your profile page to change any of the information you have entered.

Can I come buy shirts directly from your office or warehouse?
Sorry all sales need to be made through the website. We do not have a store from which to buy right now. Maybe in the future, but right now, the only place to get our shirts anywhere is through our online store.

Shipping Options

What are my shipping options?
Orders are shipped via Canada Post or UPS. We are looking to getting USPS for our US customers very soon. Please allow 3 to 4 business days for processing of orders. Also because we are making only 500 limited edition shirts per design for guys and girls, we don't know how many of each size will be ordered. Therefore as we get closer to the 500 shirts, we might have to screen some more depending on the sizes. That is why we might need the few extra days. More than likely it will be much faster than that.

How much will shipping cost me?
We try to offer as many shipping options as possible. The cheapest option would be for one shirt through regular post either though Canada Post or USPS. If you want to have tracking included with your package or if you need the shirt quickly we have other options through UPS. Please see the options listed above regarding shipping options. To calculate the cost of shipping please checkout with your order through our shop. In the 3rd step of the checkout process it will give you a list of shipping options and prices depending on the order quantity and location. You can always go back and make changes after you see the shipping options and amounts.

Will there be customs fees applied to my overseas international order?
S2S Nation is not responsible for any customs fees, import duties or taxes that the customer incurs when the package enters the country. Generally, not always, in North America there are no duty fees especially with only 1 or 2 shirts sent directly to a customer; especially with the North American free trade agreement. If you are oversees it really depends on the country and the customs office. Please check with your customs office in your country.

Our Shirts

Where and how are your shirts printed?
All the shirts being printed S2S Nation are printed locally here in Vancouver using the latest screening and printing techniques.

What are your shirts made from?
Our shirts are made from 70% Bamboo form viscous and 30% Organic cotton. We only use the highest quality shirts for our prints. These shirts will be one of the most comfortable best fitting shirts you will ever wear. These shirts feel extremely soft and smooth on your skin. People you don't even know will come up to you just to touch you. Well, probably not, depends on who you are I guess, but you get the point that they are really comfy. Not only are they comfortable, bamboo/organic cotton t-shirts are hypoallergenic. Meaning, if you have sensitive skin you don't have to worry about breaking out in a large ugly rash.

Who makes your shirts?
S2S Nation is trying to build a socially responsible company that puts a high importance on providing an enjoyable cool place for our employees to work. Therefore we want to work with other companies that share these same values. This is why the company from the USA that provides our shirts uses factories that are third party audited using the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) Monitoring system, which is based on the labour standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO). Do your shirts fit like some cheap cotton novelty tee?
These shirts will be one of the most comfortable best fitting shirts you will ever wear. Our shirts tend to fit basically between a slim fit style and a regular t-shirt style. They are North American sizes, so if you want a slimmer fitting tighter shirt, make sure you order one size lower. A 5'11" guy that is 190 lbs. (86 kg) would order a medium if he wants the shirt to fit slim or a large if he wants the shirt to fit a bit baggier. Please make sure you check our size charts here to determine which size you are to avoid returns.

Will my shirt shrink?
All our shirts are pre-shrunk, so you don't have to worry about buying a shirt and then put it through the wash to later find out that it will now fit your little brother or sister. We suggest to wash in cold water and hang dry because they actually dry very quick, but your shirt will be fine if you throw it in the dryer and tumble dry on low heat. Bamboo fibers are so strong that you're going to have to get use to wearing these shirts for a long time.

What happens if all 500 shirts sell out?
You can avoid missing your chance to buy a design you really like by making sure you buy your shirt early after they go for sale. If all 500 shirts are sold out then you are out of luck. The only way you might be able to get one of these designs is if this design wins the best of the best competition, but the shirt will be a different color or have the designer's signature if it wins.

Return policy?
We believe you will love these shirts but if for some reason you are not satisfied or happy with you purchase you have up to 30 days to return your shirt for a full refund. If you are overseas then you have up to 60 days to return your t-shirt for a full refund. Refunds aren't accepted after this time. Please e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Please put "Return: Your Order Number" in the Subject line of the e-mail

You will be responsible for all the shipping charges to send the shirt back to us unless the product is defective or there has been a shipping error on our part. For example you are a 6' 4" male and we send you a girl's small. This of course should and most likely won't happen. If you are asking for an exchange we will send your new shirt back to you at no charge. That is why you should make sure check out our size charts and pictures before you purchase your shirt.

We are confident that you will be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with your order within 30 days (60 days for international orders) from the date of purchase, simply send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. In the email please include your order number found on your packing slip or in the order confirmation email received when the order was placed and the reason for returning the shirt. Please indicate if you would like an exchange, S2S Nation credit or a refund. All returned products must be unworn, unwashed and basically not damaged or tampered with (no exceptions). Exchanges must be made for shirts of equal or lesser value. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a product defect or a shipping error on the part of S2S Nation.

Who pays for return shipping?
If the return is due to a mistake on our part (i.e. we shipped you the wrong shirt or the shirt has a defect), we will reimburse you for the return shipping costs as long as you use a standard shipping method. If you are returning a shirt because you are not happy with it or want to exchange it for a different shirt, then you are responsible for the shipping costs. How long does it take for my return to be processed?
Please allow up to 2 weeks for us to process your return.
